I am being retired

The legal rights relating to employment have changed significanly in the last few years.

 

From October 2011 employers cannot automatically retire their employees at a certain age - it will be age discrimination unless employers can justify their use of a set retirement age.

Zero increases by 26%

The Office for National Statistics has released new figures that show nearly 700,000 people work on zero hours contracts - up 26% from last year.  The problems caused by these contracts will require a significant change in the law.
